In and Out The Windows
Hi everybody!
My name's Kitty Weaver and I'm from London. If you're playing the game windows then form two teams. One team stand in a circle and make arches with your arms raised in the air. The second team all stand behind a partner in a circle and then start weaving around underneath the arches.
Come on everybody, join in, let's have some fun!
Go in and out the window,
Go in and out the window,
Go in and out the window,
As we have done before.
Now stand behind the nearest partner, raise your arms and make a new circle of arches. Now the other team weaves through
Go up and down the staircase,
Go up and down the staircase,
Go up and down that staircase,
As we have done before.
Now this team stop behind the nearest partner and make new arches and the other team go round and round the villages
Go round and round the village,
Go round and round the village,
Go round and round that village,
As we have done before.
And stop behind the nearest partner from the other team. Both turn to face each other and clap hands together
Stand and face your partner,
Stand and face your partner,
Stand and face your partner,
As we have done before.
Now dance with your partner and all skip round in a circle and swing your arms. Let's have some fun.
Now follow her to London,
Follow her to London,
Now follow her to London,
As we have done before.
Everybody stop!
Turn and face each other and shake hands to greet each other through this next verse
Now shake his hand and leave him,
Now shake his hand and leave him,
Now shake his hand and leave him,
As we have done before.
The first team form another circle of arches, the other team weave in and out as before and taking in turns to swap over
Go in and out the window,
Go in and out the window,
Go in and out the window,
As we have done before.
Come on!
Go in and out the window,
Go in and out the window,
Go in and out the window,
As we have done before.
Swap over!
Go in and out the window,
Go in and out the window,
Go in and out the window,
As we have done before.
And now take a rest. Come on. Now face your partner and do a bow and a curtsey
